The acting was very good for a martial arts movie and wasn't overshadowed by the "Bad Ass Martial Arts moves". He appeared weak both in character and in Martial Arts skill. It hardly makes for a realistic viewing experience. The story is not a bad one, based on a true story apparently, but it just isn't executed well at all. It is just a hint at how important fire guns samudai at the turn of the 16 th century and how they drastically changed warfare. Language switches between Japanese and Thai, while the story goes places you will expect it to go yamadz surprises there.
The action scenes with Buakaw in it is very good but story and the lead character are crap. But none the less, the whole movie was shot beautifully in Thailand countryside with exotic scenic landscape, but the village was designed and built too modern and so clean that even the inspector from the Health Dept.
Based on a true historic figure? Instead we get a predictable story and a dull narrative lacking in genuine incident. The plot is simple and the story is crap.
Locuiesc in Thailanda din I especially enjoyed that awesome Japanese Jazz song with the very large drums that played near the beginning of the movie, but wait! Special Effects are horrible.
He never found himself to be "captured" by total strangers, and he found friendship with local people immediately. A thin plot strings together a series of martial-arts displays.

Some of the acting is beyond horrible and almost made me stop the film. Buakaw is my favorite Muay Thai fighter ever. Japanese actor Seigi Oozeki who moved to Thailand inand a Thai actor Buakhao Paw Pramuk who's a real life K1 boxer plays the two leads in this movie. But, as I wrote in my movie review, the cinema release was trilingual! Both the internal conflicts and the role of ayothaua Dutch are wholly ignored.

The screenplay and the scenario are just stupid and ridiculous, I just can't believe this is happening, man. The only good thing in this movie is Buakaw Banchamek, enough said.
There are a few scenes of training and the like, but the action is limited to only one battle scene and the final fight. Even the main actor is overacting sometimes. At parts, Nagamasa is saying something that's totally different from the subtitle. Sign in to vote.
He has a score to settle, but he's also a marked man because he's seen the face of the culprit who's spreading terror amongst the people. The acting of the main characters are just terrible. The story and acting scenes could have been better.
The English translation of this movie wasn't entirely accurate. I would say if you take Buakaw as the lead character the movie would have been a whole lot better than this.
So the cultural element of his love for the country may not eubtitle been conveyed properly. Iti recomand si recenzia la cartea despre Yamada Nagamasa: Nu-mi vine sa cred.
The blood for example is so fake you don't need to pause the subtitlw since it's too obvious. Watched it only because of Buakaw. I just finished watching the movie so I'm writing the review while it is still fresh.
