We can't blame Cakewalk, however, as it's clearly dependent on third parties for these technologies to be implemented for bit operating systems. Oh, and saturation, of course. VX also employs a new de-essing algorithm designed with Cakewalk's LP linear phase effect filtering technology to remove sibilance without creating any frequency smearing. It's definitely worth the upgrade fee for existing users that being noticeably less than the usual full version rateand Sonar remains a keen musical proxucer for anyone who buys the package outright.
